Wisdom Chapter No. 60 was presented with their charter in 1963 under the leadership of Grand Worthy Matron, Evelyn Davis and Grand Worthy Patron, Loys Hubbard. Our initial meeting facility was at St. Luke Lodge Hall located at 1813 Washington Street in Gary Indiana. We meet the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. In 2000 Wisdom Lodge merged with King Solomon Lodge No. 57 and in that same year Wisdom Chapter became the Sister Chapter to King Solomon Lodge No. 57 as well.

ELECTED GRAND OFFICERS
Past Patron Charles Minard was elected Grand Trustee and served three years.
In 2011 Past Matron Gloria (Williamson) Sanders was elected Grand Worthy Matron of Prince Hall Grand Chapter for the Jurisdiction of Indiana Her Grand Worthy Patron was Willie B. Wilson.
During her tenure as Grand Worthy Matron, Gloria Sanders was elected Vice President of the National Conference of O.E.S. Chapters. The ruling was that you had to be a sitting Grand Worthy Matron to attain the position of President of the Conference. That rule has changed since that time. In 2014 Past Grand Worthy Matron Gloria Sanders was elected to the office of Grand Secretary.
Our annual charities consist of: The Juvenile Diabetes, The American Heart Association, COPs for Kids, The American Cancer Society , National Kidney Foundation and The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Northwest Indiana.
